I made this album with the intention of creating a completely self-made piece of art. I wanted to recreate the sounds of the 30's and 40's era recording. I used low-tech everything. One SHURE SM57 Mic for my guitar and a SHURE 520DX "Green Bullet" mic for vocals & harmonica. I would set both mics up and record the drums and percussion. I very much love vintage & old things which is why I decided to create some Cassette versions of this Album, which are for sale. They are limited edition. I recently moved to Chicago and things have been, well, really weird, but in a good way, which is where the title of the album comes from "This Has Been Really Weird..."
I hope you all enjoy this album as much as I enjoyed making it!
